Hérold Pettiau

Research Scientist 

 

Hérold Pettiau studied history at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and at the University of Cambridge, where he completed his PhD at the Department of Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic (2002). Since 2004 he has been working at the University of Luxembourg as research associate in several projects on Lotharingia. Since 2008, he works as a research scientist. His research interests include the Early Middle Ages, Lotharingia (IXth– XIIth centuries) and the editing of sources of the county/duchy  of Luxembourg.
