Christine Ruppert

Postdoctoral researcher 

 

Christine Ruppert has studied Architecture and Buildings Archaeology at the ISACF La Cambre in Brussels (Belgium), the WIT in Waterford (Ireland) and the OTH Regensburg (Germany). She has worked as a freelance architect and has participated in excavation projects and archaeological surveys in Turkey, Egypt, Nepal and Belgium. From 2016 until 2020, she conducted her doctoral research on Roman funeral architecture from Orolaunum vicus/Arlon (Belgium) at the University of Luxembourg and the TU Berlin. Her field of research is History of Architecture with a focus on ancient funeral architecture.
