Aline Fries

PhD Student 

 

Aline Fries studied History and German Studies at the University of Trier and the Università degli Studi di Udine, earning a Master of Arts in both fields. She is currently a research assistant at the Chair of Medieval History I (Prof. Dr. Petra Schulte) at the University of Trier and a PhD student in Medieval History. Her dissertation focuses on counsel and counsellors at the court of Philip the Good of Burgundy, especially the de Lannoy family. As part of the University of the Greater Region (UniGR) doctoral program, Aline is currently a visiting PhD student at the University of Luxembourg.
