Jean-Paul Lehners

Professor emeritus

 

Jean-Paul Lehners is emeritus professor in history. He has studied history at the University of Strasbourg and the University of Vienna, where worked as postdoc assistant. He was a lecturer in history and administrator at the Centre Universitaire, before becoming Vice-president and later Vice-recteur académique in the founding years of the University of Luxembourg (1999-2007). He has also been teaching at Trier, Saarbrücken and at the EIUC (European Inter University Center for Human Rights and Democratisation) in Venice. Since 2011 he is holding the UNESCO Chair in Human Rights.
